Have you ever been evicted? When I worked as a Retail Furnishings and Appliance General Manager, one of the hardest parts of that job was having to create Repossession Proceedings which follow the same laws as Eviction Proceedings for families who either could not afford to renew, or refused to honor the terms of their Lease Agreement. Having to sit in a courtroom, testify against the client, and then coordinate with the Sheriff's office the dates of an eviction was surreal. A lot of times single moms were the defendants, and other times it was long term clients who simply fell on hard times. The ones who had exhausted all of the grace periods, and other reconciliation processes made available to them. This gloomy scenario was truly one of the worst parts of that job, for me anyway.

I want you to "Take a closer look" however, at another real eviction scenario in America today. This eviction has no notice, no Sheriff, and no changing of the locks. This eviction is happening through Policy Changes, Pricing Politics, Zoning Laws, and the betrayal and neglect associated with these very laws and policies. This publication is naming these structural displacement mechanisms as the "Invisible Eviction process of Black People in America".

Yeah! that's a big one! That's why you really need to "Take a closer look!. One of the many ways this is happening is through Economics. Racial Discrimination is at the very core of the matter, and can be found in nearly all facets of American Capitalism today. Redlining and similar practices have affected Black Americans since Jim Crow along with the The Black Codes that accompanied it. These, among other legalized atrocities are at the very core of the reasons why millions of black folk rent today.

Every time there is any type of economic boost for regular folk like a Cost of Living adjustments for example, by the government, a Rent Hike almost certainly follows, and stats show that the poorest people face the highest hikes. This is just one of the areas where I find these eviction scenarios for black folk. Insurance Hikes, Loan Denials, Food Desert Creations, and many more areas of living all play a crucial role in this paradigm. The entire American Dynamic is in on it on at some level, whether willingly, or through process laws. In reality these are all signaling a language in America today that tell black folk, even the wealthy, that {You don't belong here}, {This is not your country}. All black folk have to do is "Take a closer look". When they do, they would have to agree that, if an entire community of people, only 300 or so years old, speaking of (Foundational Black Americans), are systemically denied repair, investment, safety, clean water, functional schools, and medical care, that denial of Constitutional rights is socially evicting them without doors. This publication is saying this because, many types of options have been set upon in America to fix these issues. those options simply become circles back to the start. Those options' constantly spin to the same conclusions, with different outlooks, sounds, and sentiments. Thats when reality has to kick in and identify the actual truth of the matter.

The Justice Journal Blog™ could very easily hyperlink every single claim of denial listed in this post, but you all already know that the author of this writing is speaking a truth that is not being spoken. There are more writings in this publication about the things that one should "Take a closer look" at. You see, once it becomes clear that all of the efforts of the Black Community in America to gain justice and equality continue to run through cycles of advancement and then push back. Once the realization of this vicious cycle becomes a “thing” that is officially recognized, then Black America will have to own up, and stand up to the fact that it is in fact "an eviction in progress" and not an acceptance. Controlled toleration and not true freedom. Living in a society that is set up for you to fail, is not freedom, it is a message, Accept a revised form of slavery or get out. Please "Take a closer look".
