Sources say that in 2025-26 states are in the process of redrawing their congressional district maps. Since Donald Trump took office he has led a redistricting effort to protect his

narrow House Majority before the midterm 2026 elections.

The Justice Journal Blog™ compels you however to "Take a closer look". Look at an overall mapping system that In this writers humble opinion is all wrong. Intentionally all wrong for the Black and brown communities in the United States are being directed by, and subjected to, these socioeconomic mapping systems. These institutionalized mappings that have been, and still are, intentionally designed to exclude them. These systems actually keep them lost and circling over the same terrain again and again. These maps were built and continue to be non-neutral in their directions, and processes. Success way mapping, or business processes were not designed with black and brown folk in mind. They often lead to dead end loops, and closed processes. They lead to targeted information gathering with no gains for the people providing the information. The number one design tool that allows these bias business principles, and practices to propagate is called Gatekeeping. And the number one tool of gatekeeping is what TJJB calls the white validation processes, or more correctly called cultural hegemony.

Of course there needs to be further explanations into these claims so you can "take a closer look". It is well known that The Founding Fathers of this nation were all Anglo Saxon and supposedly heterosexual males. When they wrote the Constitution, The Declaration of Independence and many other laws and by-laws for America, they did not include a plan for black cultural success, or even laws for black people's well being in the blueprints. Remember that black men and women were property bought and sold like cattle, sheep, and other livestock of that time. The Dred Scott Ruling of 1857 stated this plainly. Even after the terror evoking and overtly evil events of Chattel Slavery ended black progress was systemically met with overwhelming, and even diabolical detours. New laws were written, barriers were created, and requirements that are now illegal were thrust upon the Black community in direct efforts to keep them as a subclass of Americans.

Even after Chattel Slavery ended in 1865 via the 13th Amendment, Black people were still considered as only three fifths of a human being up until 1868 when the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was officially signed into law. These same laws are, even today, constantly being interpreted, and reinterpreted, by the modern day gatekeepers, to include but not limited to 1. Media Platforms, and 2. Financial Institutions, who hold the reigns solidly to success, and progress for all Americans today.

These institutional "mappings", or success-ways do indeed lead to the middle class or higher. These mappings do promote ownership, equity, and justice. However for the majority of black and brown Americans the goal posts move as you approach the finish line, and the gatekeepers have the power of law to protect their oversight. This is, and always has been, by design, and so has the application there of. In other words, the system continues to include restrictions, and requirements that knowingly prevent black and brown folk from truly succeeding in life

Too often the chore for black and brown segments of the U.S. population is to not only understand, but to also decode, translate, and sometimes seemingly beg to gain access to the right pathways to success. This detriment is most commonly achieved through validation processes where gatekeepers are in total control. I encourage you to "Take a closer look" at a mapping that actually lies to black and brown communities, and caters to the same people for whom they were drawn.

Here is the punch to your gut that most will not accept. What's really sad about this whole truth is that even when black folk get to the "right map", and plot the right course to success, they usually become the tax payer with a miniscule pension, and maybe a small retirement plan. This is what's called the status quo, and most black and brown Americans accept this as a successful, or comfortable life. Another scenario is to become a part of the Black Elite society, Wealthy with assets, cars, boats, houses and the like. But these "Exceptional Black folk are the ones who soon learn that they can buy whatever they can afford but can not reach back in a profound way If they do try to create infrastructure (real help), not just NAACP donations, for their community, they run the serious risk of losing what they have.

Also, When black communities as a whole find the right mapping, build communities with stores and banks, history itself has shown over and over again that "white backlash" or rage has, and still can become volatile, and in some cases has obliterated black progress completely.

"Take a closer look". Pay attention to the truth. One would be remiss to follow maps that weren't written with liberation for them in mind. Society wants you to forget, or turn a blind eye to the truth. Those who do not are too often labeled as a resistor, an agitator, someone to be shunned. What this author has found however, is that the raw unfiltered, and overwhelmingly obvious truth absolutely can not be ignored, overlooked and certainly not resisted. These truths have to be spoken of and I urge you all to " Take a closer look".
