The family revealed the actual footage of the incident to the world on their Facebook page . Now here is the real kicker to this story. After this family was escorted out of the hospital by their security team, Mrs. Wells did indeed have her baby, In their personal vehicle, and only eight minutes into the journey away from a place that was built to help them.

When The Justice Journal Blog™ looked into the coverage on this story of what appears to be tragic betrayal and negligence perpetuated by Franciscan Health Hospital,

Franciscan Health Indianapolis
Franciscan Health Indianapolis

we find the same language we always see when a miscarriage of human rights occurs. The Indiana hospital says that they have "launched and investigation" into to the alleged incident. They also said: " the health and safety of our patients is always our top priority". How many of you are tired of hearing these lies, which we know are just legal defense statements.

Alleged Incident? Is that what we are doing here? Can you imagine the shear terror of a father in a vehicle with his hurting, pregnant wife both having to deliver their child themselves in that vehicle, almost immediately after having been denied proper healthcare?

Can you imagine the father, who has no medical experience seeing his child's head coming out of his wife, after he had to rip off her garments in the vehicle? After she told him she knew she needed to "push"? And all while he is in the drivers seat of their family vehicle? Of course you can not, This was not supposed to happen.

The story further speaks of Mrs. Wells, also telling the nurses she was feeling contractions at one minute intervals. The story also tells that she was never seen by an actual Doctor. That the decision to send them away was made based on the medical opinion of a Doctor who had not seen her. The first word that comes to this author's mind is malpractice.

And to top off all of these horrifying events, there is even more. The disparate horror in this story does not end with the baby being delivered in the car. This terrified family also said that after the delivery they had to drive for an entire thirty minutes to another hospital with the baby still attached to the umbilical cord. Look at your clock right now. Watch it for 30 minutes if you can. What are we doing America? Is this the resolve of the wealthiest nation in the entire world? Or, are we in the twilight zone? The Justice Journal Blog™ is at a pause on these questions. In other words, we can't tell, can you?

The baby and mother are reported okay now, but TJJB will not echo the misleading words of these after the facts reports. The misleading words that say that they are "fine". What the ...? How can the Wells family be "fine". Sure they are all thankfully alive, and as healthy as can be expected, but they are definitely not fine! This family is traumatized to put it lightly. This family feels abused to put it plainly. This family feels unsafe, in a system designed to make people feel safe. This family feels wronged by the same people who have sworn a Hippocratic Oath that says: “I will use treatment to help the sick according to my ability and judgment, but never with a view to injury or wrong doing. I will abstain from harming or wronging any man.”

And finally, The Justice Journal Blog™ would be totally remiss if we did not mention that above all, this family feels discriminated against in every aspect of this entire scenario depicting hopelessness, fear and and isolation. This publication ask you to, for a moment, Imagine that this were a young white family coming to the hospital in severe prenatal pain. We all know, because of numerous comparisons, that the outcome would have been different. Also, look at the disparity in the hospital narrative, with no actual Doctor seeing Mrs. Wells. Not only in those factors but consider how the media is covering the story. By Starting each article with legal protection statement for hospital, and the Doctor. We also cannot overlook the commentary on Social Media which follows the traditional white nationalist framing, and narrative control initiatives always present in each platforms algorithm. How many times do we have to see, and remain helpless to the double standard of America playing out in real life? How often is at the cost of pain and suffering to its own citizens? This writer digresses however.
